Privacy policy
This policy explains what information Black Canyon Automation LLC ("Black Canyon," "we," "us") collects through blackcanyonautomation.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Work we do for clients is governed by our written agreements with them.
The short version
- We collect what you choose to send us: your name, email, and details when you fill out the contact form or book a call.
- We use it to reply to you, schedule calls, and do business with you.
- We don't sell your information, and we don't use advertising trackers.
- Our analytics don't use cookies and don't identify you.
Information we collect
When you contact us. The contact form collects your name, email address, company (optional), the topic you pick, and your message. It's delivered to us by email through Web3Forms, a form-processing service.
When you book a call. Scheduling is handled by Zoho Bookings. The booking form collects your name, email, phone number, and any answers you give. Zoho processes this under its own privacy policy, and the details are shared with us so we can hold the call.
After you book. Zoho sends you back to a confirmation page on this site with some booking details in the web address, such as your first name and appointment time. That page reads them in your browser to show your confirmation, then immediately removes them from the address bar. This site doesn't store them.
Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see things like how many people visit and which pages they read. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across other websites, and reports visits in aggregate.
Technical information. Like any website, the servers that deliver this site (operated by Cloudflare) process technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Third-party services on this site
- Cloudflare hosts and delivers the site and provides analytics.
- Web3Forms processes contact form submissions.
- Zoho provides the booking calendar. It only loads after you choose a topic in the booking section.
- Google Fonts provides the typeface. Your browser requests the font files from Google.
- YouTube hosts our videos. Videos load only when you press play, and use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode.
Each provider handles information under its own privacy policy.
How we use information
- To respond to your message or questions.
- To schedule and hold calls you book.
- To provide services if you become a client.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To keep the site secure and comply with legal obligations.
We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't use it for targeted advertising.
When we share information
We share information only with the service providers listed above so they can do their jobs for us, when required by law or to protect our rights, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries and booking details for as long as we need them to respond to you, work with you, and keep reasonable business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will unless we're required to keep it.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hayden@blackcanyonautomation.com. You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. This site doesn't change its behavior in response to that signal. We don't track visitors across other websites, and our analytics don't use cookies.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we receive. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive personal or client information, such as Social Security numbers, account numbers, or health information, through the contact form.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date above.
